Licences & Reports

Making the Construction Process Smoother for Our Melbourne Clients

Liquor Licence Applications

Every business that plans to supply alcohol in Victoria requires a liquor licence. The Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation requires evidence of patron capacity when applying for a new liquor licence or transferring an existing booze licence.

Zonne Building Surveyors & Consultants have suitably qualified and registered building surveyors to assist and provide the necessary Maximum Patron Capacity report which forms part of the application.

The Report specifies the maximum number of patrons allowed in the licenced premises at any one time and considers the boundaries of the proposed area to be licenced. For a quick turnaround so you can start serving alcohol sooner, contact us today!

Owner Builder Reports (Section 137b)

Zonne can provide owner builder inspection reports as required by section 137(b) of the Building Act. Our reports assist owner builders in meeting their legal obligations when selling their properties.

The format and content of our owner builder inspection reports has been accepted by all warranty insurance providers and are completed following a detailed visual inspection of the building work.

Building Compliance Reports

A Building Audit involves an assessment of the condition of the building and its components, as well as an evaluation of the safety and energy efficiency of the building. Once the audit is complete, a report is prepared and delivered to the building owner/occupier with recommendations for improvements.

A building audit report may include the following:

  • An assessment of the building's physical condition
  • An evaluation of the building's compliance with current legislative requirements
  • A review of the building's fire safety measures
  • An evaluation of the energy efficiency of the building
